| *********THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR SALE**** ****A stunning work of tribal art from the Chokwe and related peoples of Southwestern Democratic republic of Congo, Angola and Zambia. This particular piece serves a protective function. The pig or Ngulu mask which is danced in intitation ceremonies is worn by this skeletal figure with a python wrapped around it. The skeleton and skull exemplify the ravages of aids, malaria and other illnesses wracking this part of Africa.
